3 ways to improve Lower Back Pain

Have you ever noticed that when you’re in pain it’s like you can’t remember it not being painful. And that you never realised the smallest movements associated with that part of the body?

Lower Back Pain can really be an issue for so many, with 4 out of 5 people saying they’ve suffered at least 1 time with it affecting their life.

And like most things, prevention is key! Here are 3 things that work for me when preventing (and improving) Lower Back Pain.

First of all you’re going to want to do some Sacrum Rolls. This is a banger of a move to increase mobility in not only your hips but also your back!

Second, Mermaid - stretching laterally has all sorts of benefits. Not only a wonderful internal organ massage it also creates length in the spine and through the hip flexors.

And finally a lovely little pigeon post (seen above). The lengthening of the leg allows some lateral diagonal work and really has an added benefit of balancing out the hips.

If you’re ready to take your hips and lower back pain seriously why not take a look at my 14 Day Hip Opening Pilates Course. Designed specifically to help you release your hips and in turn has so many benefits.
