Every body deserves to move. Every body deserves to feel how great movement can be. I think a lot of us have lost the sense of how our body feels. To know how it feels when we move, when we release, when we are at peace.

Of course the world is so full of stressors and issues that make it hard so how do we centre ourselves to reeky give us a chance to focus on us and create lasting peace.

In the last couple of years my world had turned upside down. From broken down relationships to parents being extremely sick, it’s all been a bit too much. I can’t lie to be honest I felt as if I was drowning in life and that it was happening to me, not for me or not with my input.

I knew that I needed a practise that was:

  • quick and didn’t feel like a chore

  • able to be done anywhere with no equipment

  • that would target my CNS (central nervous system) so I could really maximise my movement

  • able to be done with under 5 mins or less

And so the initial concept of the 14 Day Hip Opening Pilates Course came about. I started to work with moves that I know can release trauma, stress and tension and spent time figuring out which moves have the most effects. While I can’t say I’ve done these sequences every day, They are now in my toolkit and I bring them out very regularly to maintain rather than bandaid.
