My favourite colours to use

Hand dying flowers is such a beautiful process! No flower turns out the same and for me, that’s the beauty.

I have a full section of my Paper Flower Course where you can learn about hand dying but I just wanted to do a quick blog post about my favourite dyes to use when making Paper Flowers.

In my tool kit I always have yellow, red and green food colouring. Yes I have proper water colour inks too but honestly if you’re starting out on this Paper Flower journey (welcome!) then start with some food colouring and you’re good to go.
