The Holy Guacamole by Jette Virdi, gluten free recipe

I hear you yawning in the back there, how many guacamole recipe is too many? Well in my book, you can’t have too many! I love that holy green spicy, sweet, oily, beautiful guacamole. It’s delicious, goes with everything and well I could literally eat it by itself too.

The other reason I love Guacamole is because it’s so damn good for you. Avacados contain a huge amount of nutrients - roughly 20 different vitamins and minerals! About 100g serving will give you 17% of your daily Vit C needs, 13% Vit E and 20% of your Folate needs (there are many more). It’s also a much better source of Potassium than bananas and without that sugar intake too. 100g of the green goodness gives you about 14% of your potassium intake over 10% that bananas do.

Other benefits of avacado include plenty of heart healthy fatty acids and plenty of fibre. No wonder it’s a millennial’s best friend.
