March planning

There's nothing like a good list. Shopping list, goal list, work task list. I'm obsessed, my walls are filled with goal lists, and lists of how to make those goals. Lists of things I need to learn to help me with those goals. The list of my lists goes on.

While I have slightly OCD tendencies with my lists, there are many other ways of organising your goals, tasks and ideas. There are a gazillion apps that are all great and work for some people. Personally I find physically writing out my tasks a really motivating thing. It means I can actually feel the thought go down my body, to my hand and then visually onto a piece of paper. It becomes tangible to me, something that is achievable and real. On my phone, lists are the things I forget.

So, how can I help you this month to achieve some of your goals? We're nearing the end of the first quarter and this is a really good moment to sit down with a cup of tea, a biscuit (or two) and just think back over the last two months.

Are you sitting down? I want you to think back to your work, what have you achieved in the last two months? Did you finish that night course or did you write the first chapter of your book? Maybe you made the decision to quite your job and look for something new.  MAKE A LIST OF ALL THE THINGS YOU'VE ACHIEVED. Once you do this give your self a pat on the back. If, on the off chance you didn't achieve the things you wanted, don't give out to yourself. There are things we always miss, things that never get done and accepting that is perfectly ok. Currently I have three businesses on the go and I'm starting another one...there are things that get skipped over. For example, sorting out my receipts for February is low on my list right now. But it's ok.

See the link above? Yep the one that says 'I'll take the free planner', click on it and print it out if you can. While you have the last 2 months achievements in your head take the time now to write down a goal or task for each month.

And then below it, write out how you're going to accomplish it. For March I'm going to sort out February's receipts. How will I do this? By putting aside the 10th and 11th March to do them. See? What I'm doing for myself is breaking everything down into small manageable goals. Goals that let me accomplish things. A bigger task for me this March is sending out my press release for my second collection of Created and Found. How am I going to achieve this? 13th is my day of writing the actual press release, Tom is going to help me edit it and then on the 14th and 15th I'll set aside 2 hours each day to sending it out to all the journos I know.

So, what are you waiting for?! Let's get you planning so that you can achieve those goals. If you need help, I'm here! Honestly, just send me an email. Or you can get in touch to do a 1-on-1 mentoring session with me. I really want to help you reach your dreams.
